Xc27: Simulator Voice Over not working?

I have enabled "Voice Over" in the Device -> Accessibility Menu of the Device Hub, but I hear no Output.

I was expecting Voice Over to be active when this option is selected.

Running Xc 27 on MacOS 26.5. Do I need to be on MacOS 27?
