That's normal. If you install a beta OS (or any newer release) that your current Xcode version doesn't know about, you also need to install a matching beta (or newer release) Xcode version.

Try the latest Xcode 4 beta - see https://developer.apple.com/download/

Thanks, It looks like Beta is the only thing more current. I'll download Beta . As I recall I can run my current version and others.
