For one of our macOS application, we need to install audio driver (user land driver). We install this at system path '/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL' as per documentation. But, one of our customer did not have permission to HAL folder. We tried giving access manually, copied our audi driver at this path and restarted core audio process using command 'sudo launchctl stop com.apple.coreaudiod'. But, our audio driver is not getting detected. Could someone help to understand why the customer did not have permission to HAL folder and how do we correct this.
