Issue:

Cannot restore a backup from iCloud for my iPhone 6 in ios 9 public beta3.

Device:

iPhone 6+ 20M net in Brazil

Background:

I updated to ios9 Public Beta3 via OTA. Last Saturday, i want to erase it and DFU .So I:

1.use icloud to make a backup , and succeeded.

2.Download the IPSW of ios 9 developer beta5(my iphone is registered as developer device) and DFU

3.After this , i chose restore from Icloud , and chose the backup i make 15 mins ago.---------------------This is where everything went wrong.

I cannot restore the backup, it stays in "calculating the time left" and after 10mins, it says "cannot restore from icloud"

I check the 3 backups in icloud, all of them cannot be restored.

I change the net, from company, from home and from my gym, still cannot succeed.

I DFU to 8.4.1 , then enroll in beta.apple.com and OTA to IOS9 public beta3 , erase and chose "restor from icloud",,still not working.

Can anyone help me please?

I'd tell you to call 1-800-APPLE but it's so obvious they're gonna pull that "Beta software is not covered by support and is at your discretion".

As if having the world do Quality Assurance testing for free for you isn't enough, you can't support them when sh&t goes wrong.

I really hate when they pull that crap.

Sometimes I feel like their support may be considered effective for someone named Bultina who's in her twilight years (north of 75+) and doesn't know how to turn on her TV. 😕

Til now no one helps....

Now Im just hoping when the official version of IOS9 comes out, i can restore from the ilcoud.....

hahaha~

You know i called the apple care line yesterday...Because i was in Brazil ,they only provide service in Portuguise.

But i can just speak English.. They give me a number of USA apple care, and let me call USA myself....
