I am wondering if anyone knows if there will be any new file types for the newly announced "Live Photos"? In addition to creating an image file, the feature will create a 3sec video also.

I don't see anything about live photos in xcode 7.1... Would love to learn more ASAP.
I don't see any documentation for this yet. In the iOS 9.1 beta references, the Live Photos classes are listed but not yet documented.

Since it was just announced I would expect more information in a future seed. It would also be nice to know if live photos are limited to iPhone 6s hardware, or will be available on other devices after the iOS 9.1 update. Have not yet tried this empirically.
