El Capitan and Little Snitch

Hi folks,

after an update to El Capitan and another Update of Little Snitch the OS hangs at startup. Only moving or deleting /Library/Extensions/LittleSnitch.kext helps. This is somehow weird, because at their blog https://blog.obdev.at/ it says they are ready for El Capitan.

I doublechecked this on my iMac and on a Macbook Pro.

Ciao

Finally and after carefully reading this board I figured it out:

1. Delete all stuff regarding Eltimate Syncmate in:

/Library/Extensions/

/Library/Application\ Supprt/

/System/Library/Extensions/

2. Also delete the content of /var/folders/

No it seems to be fine, I rebootet a few times without experiencing the problem again.

Update: Now even after deleting the LittleSnitch.kext it doesn't start anymore. I'm stuck...

I have the same problem. Could boot two times always right after deleting the snitch.kext files but then it stuck again. Would complete uninstall LS help?

The problem wasn't Little Snitch here. This software is perfectly fine with El Capitan. I accidently had Little Snitch under suspicion because it happened right after I had updated Little Snitch to the latest version.

Here it was Eltimate Syncmate, as I wrote in my last posting. In other threads I have read people having problems with Virtualbox extensions.
