IP control of remote commands, for Crestron, Control 4, etc?

I haven't been able to find any definitive information about IP control for the new AppleTV yet. Do we know if we have, or will have, the ability to IP control an AppleTV? We can still use the previous six IR commands like all AppleTVs have used, but in an integrated system where all the gear is located in a rack away from rooms with TVs, we miss out on many major features of the new AppleTV.

Also, anyone else notice the inconsistency between apps when trying to pause video? For example, the Netflix app won't pause using select, you must use the play/pause button. Yet Apple's apps don't behave that way, and I see no evidence that play/pause is now a separate command from select.

From what I understand, Control4 has native IP control of Apple TV (even works with Gen4).

It's one-way control only, but its still control.

I live in the Crestron world, where there is no IP control of Apple TV.

IP control of remote commands, for Crestron, Control 4, etc?
