I have several files stored in my iCloud Drive that I am attempting to transfer over to a friends external hard drive. The files consist of a little over 2,000 photos and 30 videos. All of the photos are either .jpg or .png. As for the movies, they are all either a .MOV or .mp4 file type. The issue that I am running into is that each time I attempt to transfer these files from my iCloud Drive and into the external hard I get an error message that reads as follows: "The Finder can't complete the operation because some data in "file name" can't be read or written. (Error code - 36)." Has anyone run into this error code before?
The interesting thing is that I can open and view the files just fine from my iCloud Drive. The issue only arises when I attempt to transfer the files. The external hard drive that I am attempting to transfer the files to is already being used as a Time Machine Back Up source for another machine.
Any feedback or assistance that can be offered would be much appreciated.
