FB iOS properties (FB,Instagram,Messenger) does not recognize Apple Wallet Mime Type

Currently all FB properties on iOS (FB,IG,Messenger) does not support the Apple Wallet Passes. So merchants can not distribute Apple Wallet passes. This was working on previous FB iOS apps. The embedded browser on FB apps does not recognize Apple Wallet MIME type (application/vnd.apple.pkpass).


I wonder if Apple is aware of this problem, and could give us a bit more info on this.

I've tried it with FB native app, did not have problems. It has never worked with Instagram any time I've tried.


This is an important issue for sure.
