Arabic localization not working. other languages working fine!

My app deals with numbers. so it is internationalised as well as localised. I have supported 5 languages other than the base english in it... hindi, arabic, chinese, japnese and spanish.

i can see all my numbers as well as text properly set for all languages except for text strings in arabic.

when i change the iphones language to arabic, i can see the interface reversed, the numbers like dates and currency appearing in arabic but text strings wont appear in arabic. i checked the settings in xcode and the arabic languages has been added and the .strings file is also there with proper semicolors after each string key value pair.

can anyone help me find out what could be wrong?

What happens when you run plutil on the Arabic Localizable.strings file? Could you also share a screenshot of what's going on?

Can you tell me more about plutil? what is it and how do i use it?

I did a plutil with the file path without any options and it says OK.

I think a little more info might be needed. Are you able to put a test project together? If it happens there, could you please file a bug report at bugreport.apple.com?
