Unable to run updated WatchKit app in Xcode 7's simulator

I've updated the app for watchOS 2 using the built in suggestion with Xcode 7 when you first build it. I've changed all the necessary code so there's no errors or warnings but I can't seem to run either the containing app or the watch app in the simulator; they never launch but they do copy over to the simulators.

Is there a new scheme I should be using? I'm using the previous scheme for the main watch app which now automatically lets you choose between running the iPhone 6 simulator with either the 38mm or 42mm watch simulator.

I'm having the same issue, can't launch a simple sample app on either simulator or device.

Did you install into /Applications or somewhere else? I usually put the betas in a subfolder so wondering if that's why.

i installed into Applications. The betas a apropriately named so there is no problem coexisting with release.

I have reset the content of both iOS and watchOS simulators and restarted both and that lets me run the watch app once. To debug again the reset of content has to be repeated in my experience so far. Very slow debug cycle.

So far no luch doing the same on device.

Try to go into the Watch app in the iPhone simulator then uninstall and reinstall your watch app from there.

I have done this numerous times and it still hasn't worked for me. I've been fighting this issue for weeks with no success, even on Xcode 7 GM.
