Problem after upgrade to iOS 14 beta version

i have problem With my some apps after update to iOS 14 beta like viber when I enter to even I can’t touch my screen on my iPhone X some apps running slow after update .what should I have to do ?
I upgraded to the iPhone 12 Pro Max and have issues at times with screenshots. Sometimes after taking one it'll freeze up on me. I can't send the image as a text or even click on the screen to delete the image. I am forced to reboot. It's done this quite a few times already since I got it on Friday. I notice some applications that were quick on my XS Max now lag slightly. I have iOS 14.2 installed (non-beta)
The same here...after I upgraded, when I open my app, it automatically shuts down and another app just frozen in a black screen...anyway to reverse

I have the same problem. As soon as I downloaded ios 14, I started noticing an obvious delay when typing and using apps. My phone has PLENTY of storage space so I know it is not a storage issue. I also noticed after downloading 14.2 that I sometimes do not receive text message notifications. Is there any way to undo ios 14 all together and go back to ios 13? I do not want this version of ios on my cell phone anymore. This is ridiculous.
I am having similar issues ever since updating to iOS 14.2. I have an iPhone 8 which I just got a new battery for, but my phone will either have slow response to me pressing the volume and on button, or it will randomly lag and freeze and crash, especially when I plug my phone in to charge after I noticed the random UI lags. The battery life will remain the same on my screen and in my battery settings even thought it is clearly going down. This is very frustrating especially considering I have no widgets and so much storage AND I JUST RESET MY IPHONE AND THE PROBLEM IS STILL THERE AND MY SISTER HAS AN IPHONE 7 AND ISN’T EXPERIENCING THIS SHIT. Fix your shit Apple I stg
Glad to see I'm not alone in dealing with this issue. My phone is admittedly an older model, though certainly not ancient - it's an SE (2016). Nonetheless, this phone was perfectly viable on iOS 13. Ever since installing 14, it has been borderline unusable unless it's plugged into a wall, and with the latest update, it's been extremely dicey EVEN while plugged into a charger. It will charge to 100%, then immediately crash, sometimes powering up to 1%, sometimes (and most troubling) not powering up for several hours. This is f*cking ridiculous. I might as well go back to a landline. Please undo this update until the bug is fixed.
I am experiencing lags on my iphone 8 when I updated it to 14.2! The phone freezes when I connected it into power source. The battery remains at a certain level. I need to restart my phone to know how much battery left on my phone. The volume also lags amd freezes whenever I click the volume up or volume down. When I also turn off the screen and on it, the screen will lag and hard to type for the passcode. I am dealing with this for a week now after updating to 14.2 my bad I wish I just stayed on 14.1. I tired to hard reset, restore and reinstall the IOS but no avail! The problem still exists!
Faced the same issue, my iphone 7s max now become very slow after IOS 14.2 update. Apple used to be bery good, but now I begin to doubt their quality and don’t think it’s the top of the market anymore.
I heard about people having issues but auto updated overnight for my iPhone 8 and it’s lagging and freezing and I restarted it and it helped for a few minutes but when I go to do something more complex than sudoku or safari it lags, the sound cuts out and it lags with I turn the volume up and down. Anyone have a fix?
I'm here for the same reason as the rest - I updated to 14.2 and UGH! Everything is laggy now.

UI action.... wait, wait, wait... reaction.

I'm not having as many app problems as others are, but I can see the battery life drain out right before my eyes. I've turned off anything that looks like a background task starting back in version 8 up through 14. I keep cycling through app settings because iOS updates tend not to respect my setting wishes.

Anyhow - I need to fall back to 13 dot something so I don't got so frustrated I bounce the phone off a brick wall.
I’ve watched the battery drain before my eyes and my games and apps just stop working also their volume just lags out and stop working this is ridiculous!

This genuinely ridiculous coming from someone who is an old Apple user Apple you need to THINK before you put out updates My iPhone is literally on charger going from 39-38 and won’t go higher!
I face the same issue while I am using more than one apps. Too slow or not to open or not to connect wifi. I am very regregful to download IOS version 14.2.

Exactly the same thing, Since a little while my battery get drained like crazy and I even changed my battery to a new one and it doesn't help. Now with 14.2 my phone show me whatever battery percentage, sometime reset when plugging to the charger and the volume button is just crap and lagging as hell.
After talking with Senior Consultant at apple, it seems that the software is glitch and the only fix is to reset the phone to factory setting and not using any backup. It seems to work for me but this is freaking annoying.
Same thing here... so f***ing annoying.
If anyone finds a fix for a tech moron like me, please post! My iPhone 8+ is so slow after this last update that it’s nearly unusable. I have plenty of working memory. Google won’t even load on safari without a looong slooow pause. So frustrating. If I hadn’t had a truly nightmarish scenario involving Apple Customer Support in the past, I’d be reaching out for help. Can’t live with a phone that works so poorly.
Hello again guys,

The reset to factory without backup is not working finally. I have been on the call with senior guys from apple and nobody can help nor give me a replacement. Apparently we are not enough ppl having the issue so I filled a official complain to apple to see what they can do. My best guess now is to unofficially downgrade the phone and see if it works
same hear
I have the same problem on iphone XR after 14.2 it got super laggy. My battery is still optimal tho
We have an iPhone 8 which is behaving very oddly after updating to 14.2 (updated from 14.1).
After initial reboot the phone works correctly . Then after a period of sleep, sometimes within an hour and then waking, the volume buttons become unresponsive and screen-shots stop working. When it starts failing, a brief press the 'up volume' button, the on-screen volume indicator slides itself up to maximum volume. Briefly pressing the 'down button' and the indicator slides itself all the way back down and mutes! (even with finger removed!) Other hardware issues include the phone sometimes not finding a mobile service (until it is rebooted). Also the hard reset is not possible due to the (rather bonkers) volume up /down / side button combination being impacted by the aforementioned volumes control issues.
Also, the phone battery charge system has gone haywire. Gaps in the charge history where it records zero charge for hours. Erratic battery charge levels being reported and sudden drops between uses .. one minute the battery showing half charge the next little left. Another problem that the phone is occasionally crashing when the charge lead is plugged in.
We have reset all phone settings and removed almost every app in testing and the problem remains the same.
The phone is only useful if rebooted first! Very frustrating as the phone was working fine until the last update.

Hi,
  1. I been having a lot of issues since I downloaded 14.x. I am having connectivity issues with wifi even though it is connected to WIFI it does not work.

  2. When I try to call it takes three attempts:

a. it does not ring bell, moment I call someone it shows call failed.
b. it does not ring bell it directly goes to voice mail of destination contact.
c. it call and it rings.
Hello All,

I have tried many thing to solve the issue unsuccessfully and what seems to work for now is the following (it has been 2hrs without any lags):

I set the iphone into DFU mode and restore it as new iphone from itune on my mac. I will keep you updated if this end up to be failing again.

Cheers,
Never mind, It didn't help...
I own the iPhone 11 max pro, 256.
After the update, the battery drains in half of the time, and I’m experiencing the same issues with freezing especially with emails and messaging.
some games also freeze.
This is unacceptable for a phone the cost over $1000.
Apple shall fix this.
Same types of issues here - for starters, as I type this very message, nothing happens for several seconds then all the letters start appearing. over and over, I am watching my screen after every sentence, like a ghost is typing this. This reminds me of old school XP SP3 with 64MB RAM performance. Are we swapping to a secret spinning hard disk here?

Battery drains at least twice as fast as iOS 13.
I won’t even get into the broken UI issues. How about the worse than nothing text prediction that has been around for many major versions now. It’s always “correcting” common words into stupid, meaningless alternatives, AFTER I hit send. What is that about??

It’s just like the old M$ way of continuing to build on top of a broken, bloated turd of an OS forever- when they should clearly start over fresh. This very thing was the downfall of Microsoft and they have never fully recovered.

I really get the feeling this is another illegal ploy by Apple- to intentionally slow all older hardware down to the point that users are forced to upgrade to the latest model. Whatever it’s is, it’s beyond unacceptable.
Take a look around at the hundreds of thousands of messages surrounding these issues Apple; 14.x is absolutely broken. Everyone on anything other than an iPhone 12 is dealing with this nightmare. Coincidence..?

I am having the same issue with my XS. For example, when I go into messages, then to a message thread and start typing it freezes for 5 seconds then puts the letters in. Seeing similar lagging issues with other apps as well. Also, when swiping down on the home screen, it freezes. Very frustrating. Not having the same battery drain issues that others mentioned.
