iOS Distribution Certificates Expire

Hello Fellow Developers,

I have a few distribution certificates that will expire wihin the next 30 days and was currious why this is?

I was also looking for advice because the documentation seems overwhelming. Is there a way to renew a distribution certificate?

If I click on the certificate in question there are 2 buttons one to download and one to revoke if it will no longer be valid why would I download it.

I know this is a lot of questions but I feel overwhelmed and dont know where to start, I'm currently trying to read through the documentation but theres so much I dont understand. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which version Xcode?

You're in the Mac App Sandbox forum, but titled as iOS, so...might want to clear that up.

The answer to 'is there a way', is yes, same as the first time, but I'm confused how you understood enough then, but not now?

Hint - Xcode's automatic provisioning...but that depends on which version you're using - seen this thread?

As for expiring certs, are you asking about the 30 days, or asking about why they don't last forever?
