iOS app icon grid geometric specifications?

To an official Apple Engineer or someone who definitely knows: What are the official geometric specifications for the iOS app icon grid? (Used by official Apple Designers)

  • In WWDC 2017, in the session, App Icon Design, https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2017/822/ Apple designer, Alexander MacLean instructs developers to ‘use the icon grid’ just before 10 minutes in the video.

  • In WWDC 2013, in the keynote event, Apple CEO, T.C., introduces a video in which Apple Senior Vice President of Design (at the time), Jony Ive explains how Apple ‘develop[ed] a grid system to achieve a much more harmonious relationship between individual elements.’

I'm aware of that Chris Heath, on a website, ‘Design By Geometry’, has presented a compelling analysis of Apple's iOS app icon grid in a video titled, ‘How to Build the iOS Icon Grid’. But, because it isn't an official Apple source, I can't be sure that it is 100% accurate to Apple's official design.
In the 2017 WWDC presentation you referenced, the linked presentation (https://devstreaming-cdn.apple.com/videos/wwdc/2017/822qxyzd1qk9l222/822/822_app_icon_design.pdf?dl=1) has a slide (page 55) that shows the App Icon Grid. You can drag-and-drop the downloaded PDF into Sketch (tested using Version 70.3) to access the individual pages in editable form. You can then use this vector version of the app grid when creating icons.
