¿Pay for use MapKit in my app?

I'm new in this world of the apps, and i want to know if some one can help me, im creating a app to track units and show this units in my map, i'm working with MapKit to create this app, but i don't know if i need pay a membership, i make this question because in my first i try, i used the google maps api for IOS but i need pay a membership, because my app it will tracking units, and i dont know if i need to pay something if i use MapKit.

I hope some one can help me, thanks.

You need to have a paid Individual Developer Account to put apps in the store, but there is no additional fee associated with the use of the MapKit API.
