Hi, I have been having an issue, and I have searched apple forums, YouTube and reddit for any issues regarding the problem I am having with the latest IPad Pro but with no luck, so I have made a post. I've mistakenly posted this issue on the other forums not on the dev page, however they have been removed.
I have attached pictures of what the screen looks like. (I have also recorded a video the issue from [ running out of battery -> Screen Issue -> Force Restart fixing issue] If needed I can post a video of this issue.) The pictures and the video, were taken on (Iphone 6) in the dark as the screen is simply not visible in light conditions, so sorry for the quality, pictures were also compressed so I could get them on my pc, but the screen is almost identical to what is on the picture apart from the noise from the darkness. Details of how to get this issue is described below, and have only managed to fix it by performing a force restart. The Problem Once I run completely out of battery and the device turns off. I plug my charger in and charge the device. The screen shows to charge the Ipad and the cable icon disappears off the screen. Then the screen turns black and the low battery icon appears, but extremely faintly - blurred even. I wait until I can boot my Ipad up again, but the screen still stays faint, blurred and extremely low on brightness. Almost like a shade of dark blue/black . I can make out the rough shapes of what shows up on the screen, such as my wallpaper when i click the lock button on and off. And the numbers to enter in my pass code. I've had this issue before multiple times, but only when the device boots up after completely running out of battery. I have been thinking this issue may be because the battery is too low to suffice the need to successfully boot up the Ipad in working order, and the screen gets affected. But the issue persists even if you continue to charge the device for hours. And if you somehow made the brightness extremely low, you will not be able to see anything on your screen with this problem, thinking the device is frozen. The only way I have been able to fix this problem is by performing a force restart.
I would like to add that I have only managed to run out of battery since I have been on the beta version of Ipad OS 15 (and I have used Ipad OS 14 for maybe around a month before upgrading to Ipad OS 15, I cannot remember), which I have been updating when newer versions have been coming out (and have been using it to test out new features which I really enjoy) . However if it may seem the problem could be due to the beta version, I am happy to downgrade my OS back to 14, but I would like to know if there is anything I could do before I try that. Have you guys run into this problem before? Is this intentional or normal to happen? Should I get this repaired? Or if my warranty can cover this issue if it cannot be fixed? Please let me know.
