I have recently started work on a bunch of Swift Libraries and I've noticed an odd behavior on my iOS/macOS devices, I get "iCloud storage is full" error. However, last week I have ~40gb free. This week I'm 22gb over my limit. The actual sum of all the items in my iCloud Drive, ~25gb.
This behavior was not present before I started working on these libraries. iCloud Drive is set to sync the Docs and Desktop folders.
I when I deleted all files on my iCloud Drive I was still @ 122gb, when I should have had 0gb. Apple Support was able to verify the behavior, but was not able to offer resolution. After ~48 hours of an empty iCloud Drive, the issue resolved itself.
Has anyone seen anything like this when building projects from the desktop/docs w/iCloud Drive? Is there a way to deny list these files, like in Time Machine?
Not sure they are connected, but it is sus. My libs aren't big and they don't use any cloud stuff, but they update very frequently.
