Universal Control inverted mouse scroll on iPad

I feel like I have dealt with this problem before, but I just hooked up my iPad Pro to my M1 Mac Mini with Universal Control and everything works fine....except the mouse wheel scrolling direction on the iPad is inverted from how it behaves on the Mac.

Please tell me there is a setting somewhere to fix this.

Thanks,

-Scott

I have the same issue and it's pretty annoying. The scrolling setting on the iPad should be 'taken' from the whatever it is set to on the MacBook (Mac mini/whatever).

On the iPad, if you go to Settings > General > Trackpad & Mouse, you can enable/disable Natural Scrolling to match the setting on your Mac. I can confirm this worked for my trackpad using Universal Control, so hopefully it will work for your mouse scroll wheel, too. It would be nice if the iPad could automatically pull the setting from the controlling device, though.

Did this ever get resolved? This drives me crazy and you cannot get iPad OS to show trackpad and mouse settings until you physically connect a device that has a trackpad, like an Apple keyboard/trackpad device. The mouse scrolls incorrectly on the iPad in Universal control mode and there appears to be no way to change it. I'm not even sure if you do change the scroll direction via the trackpad and mouse setting that this will work, since 1) I don't have an apple iPad keyboard and 2) there appears to be no way to turn it on in absence of an Apple iPad keyboard.
