On the Promoting Apps with Smart App Banners page, it states "Banners don’t appear in the iOS simulator." But clearly that's not always the case, as can be seen in the attached screenshot of a smart app banner appearing in the simulator of an iPhone 13 running iOS 15.2 via Xcode 13.2.1. Is this a bug in the simulator or an error in the documentation?
And if it's an error in the documentation, is there any way, besides leaving out the <meta> tag on the HTML page, from preventing the smart app banner from appearing in the simulator?
