Will the Apple passkey work with File Vault similar to how Windows PIN does with Bitlocker and TPM chips?

Passkeys are designed for client-server account authentication. As with any public key cryptography setup, the security is based on separate entities having the public and private key. This model doesn't make sense for on-device authentication, such as FileVault.
