Apple Pay domain verification FAIL

Hello, all. I've seen a few posts about others having similar problems, but I couldn't find a solution anywhere. I've spent countless hours trying to get our domain verified for Apple Pay on the web, but keep getting a 404 error when trying to access the verification file at:

https://signalchainaudio.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association.txt.

I can confirm that the folder and file are where they need to be in the root folder and that I've set the SSL cyphers to include those provided by Apple. Our site is built on a GCP Bitnami stack (Apache 2.0) with a brn-cert tool SSL certificate.

Bottom-line is the .well-known folder (and anything in it) can't be accessed via a browser, no matter what I do. I've tried several different approaches to no avail. I'm hoping someone else has run into this problem and might offer a solution.

Thanks.

I figured it out the issue!!! It turns out (for some unknown reason), LetsEncrypt adds a .conf file in Apache at /opt/bitnami/apps/letsencrypt/conf. The .conf file redirects /.well-known to a different location, which was the cause of the error when trying to verify the domain with Apple, Stripe, Square, etc. It was complete luck that I found it at all.

This just saved me!!!! Thx!!
