Since the upgrade to ios16 on my Apple TV the sound when playing Movies in 4k is muffled high frequency noises... I have a sound bar connected through ARC to the rest of my surround sound now I was tempted to do a reset on my Apple TV but then thought let me play around with Video and sound settings... So Video is set to 4k 50hz and sound format was set to off so it uses the auto using Dolby Atmos etc...
So long story short I changed format to on and used Dolby Digital 5.1 and has resolved the muffling noises when playing 4k videos... The issue I have now is since the setting changed not all my speakers work "surround sound" as it should... Wondering if this is a bug ? And if testing the beta version resolves this issue or not...?
