Our customer has over 100 Apple TVs playing videos using our tvOS app in public places 7x24 hours. Initially those Apple TV devices were set as Single App Mode after installing our app. There are no remotes connected or MDM to control the Apple TVs because they're supposed to play the videos forever once set. However, some of the Apple TVs are reported to pop out the OS update notification after a period of time, which covers the whole screen.
Is there any solutions to disable the OS update? If not, is there any way to postpone the notification & manage the OS update time, so the Apple TVs can all get manually updated during maintenance time? I think Apple should provide such method of dealing with OS update for customers using Apple TV as public players.
