Curved Windows for video playback in visionOS?

Hello!

Just finished watching the "Create a great spatial playback experience" session, and I was wondering if it was possible to create "Curved" windows to enhance video playback. If not, I think that would be a great way to enhance traditonal 2d content, make it feel a bit more immersive.

If you can't do it directly in AVFoundation, would it be possible to do this via Video Effects/RealityKit Video Material?

Hi @kauboi, I would suggest filing Feedback with your idea! If you wanted to try and create this effect yourself, you could use AVFoundation for managing the playback of video, and other frameworks like RealityKit and Metal to render your own custom video player.
