Some iPhones beacon didenterregion gets only called after screen is on

Hi,
We are using the Location SDK and Estimote Proximity Beacons to trigger an Action on the didenterregion call.
For many users it works good but some have the issue that the it´s only triggered after the turn their screen on for example with the rise to wake function or by pressing the home button.
We already asked the users to reset network settings and of course restart the device. The beacons are set to an advertising interval of 100ms to comply with the apple iBeacon protocol.

Is anybody experiencing similar issues?

Hi,

Same here, with an iBeacon using the Nordic nRF51822 chipset.

Seems to occur on any iPhone, although it does not happen all the time.

Still have not found any answer to that issue though.

We're having ongoing issues with Estimote beacons (in secure mode). After some time of them working correctly, our app stops 'seeing' beacons. Despite them all being monitored, (EST has 16 CL regions), after some time they stop. Bring the app to the foreground kickstarts them (mostly).

This issue seems to be fixed in iOS 10.3 beta 5. Let´s wait for the official release of 10.3...
