Creating Live Wallpapers (Strange Playback)

I've successfully created a video in Premiere Pro, exported as .h264 MOV file and set it as my iPhone 7 iOS 10(.1) wallpaper.

It works 95% well, I 3D touch my lockscreen and the 3 second video plays, but something strange happens.

Before the 1st frame of the video plays it shows a few frames from the middle of the video first, I'm guessing this is to do with the fact that the JPG of the live photo will be half way through the video. However it just makes it look weird, like the video is jumping around.

Does anyone know of a way around this, or have any more info, like precisely which frames it plays when, which I could then use to manipulate the video to make it seem smoother.

Sidenote: I have set a different photo as the JPG to the MOV, allowing you to have a nice high res image as the background, but any video you like when you press and hold, this could make for some really cool wallpapers!
