You can't use this version of the application "Xcode" with this version of MacOS: You have "Xcode" 15.4

I have a Macbook Air 2022 with M2 Chip. I am on MacOs 15 Version 15.0 Beta (24A5298h). I have tried downloading XCode from the appstore and it downloads but after its done, when i try to open it, i see a pop up with You can't use this version of the application "Xcode" with this version of MacOS: You have "Xcode" 15.4. I checked on the website, the minimum needed version of MacOs to run Xcode 15.4 is MacOS 14.

I have tried downloading XCode version 15.1 (December 2023) from the XCode website but it still refused to install. It said "Download the latest from Appstore" But everytime i download the latest from appstore, after that long long wait, i see the above mentioned error.

Please assist.

So... as you are currently running on a MacOs beta you have to download the beta version of Xcode as well. You can find it under the following link: https://developer.apple.com/download/applications/

I had the same problem on my MBP M2 with 15.1 Beta "1". Just downloaded the Xcode beta version and it's working for me. Just keep in mind you running on a beta version, so take instability into account. Take care.
