xcode 16 crash after IOS GPU capture

XCode: 16.0 MacBook Pro: M1 Pro, Sonoma 14.5 Device: iPhone16, 18.0.1 Game: UnrealEngine 5.4.2 based

100% crash after gpu cature, even only renders a login UI

with iPhone 12 Pro Max, no crash occured

Hi. Although the screenshot here is lacking full details, this might be an issue fixed in iOS 18.1 (currently released as RC).

To avoid the crash in your current version of Xcode and iOS, you can try disabling profiling before capturing.

If the issue still occurs with iOS 18.1 / Xcode 16.1, please file a feedback assistant report and post the feedback assistant ID here. If you can capture without profiling, you can file a feedback report from Xcode's Help > Provide Feedback... option in the menubar. If you are in the Metal Debugger, this will also attach the gputrace to the report.
