Image Playground stuck at Early Access requested

It’s a few days now and I’m still not able to get access ……. can anyone frm apple tell me how to gain access .

They allowed it to be downloaded even if you're not a dev. Assuming they're only rolling to paying developers.

I don't believe anyone from Apple is actually looking at this. I myself have been stuck since day 1. No reply from feedback, nothing. If they are going to release these betas then make the features available

Don't stress yourself. Image Playground is quite funny, but after 10 minutes you've seen it.

I requested mine Saturday 10/26 at 1am. It is now 10/31 at 10 am. I still have not received access. What is going on?

I got it a little late, but I’ve still been waiting 30+ hours and this is ridiculous.

Hello all. Just wanted to update you on my experience:

TL;DR: Granted access after 8 days; requested about 3 hours after the beta went live; a friend who requested at the same time hasn’t received access yet; Apple has confirmed access will be rolled out over weeks (plural); hang in there and try to be patient, it will come!!

I downloaded the beta on Wednesday the 23rd at around 3:15pm Central Time (a little over 3 hours after it was released I believe) and requested access right away. I just now got access at 12:00 pm on the 31st.

I have a friend who downloaded and requested at basically the same time who has not gotten it yet.

Also, just a reminder that Apple has officially stated that this is an actual waitlist and it is rolling out over weeks (plural) so it may take a while before you get it.

I know it’s really difficult when we are all so anxious to try it out and see how it works and can be incorporated into apps, but try to have patience. It will come eventually!!

A final note: the Playground app did switch to telling me it was downloading instead of the “access requested“ message shortly before I got the notification that it was ready. Screenshots are attached.

i also have same problems having more than 8 days. still saw Early Access Requested. at provide estimate time to have access.

Same thing here, requested access on the 23rd of October and still waiting.

I finally got access to it after almost 10 days of waiting!! But things were difficult still afterwards. The next message to appear said that support was downloading and this process took another whopping 20 hours to happen!! Been a rough one to get working but loving it all now!! Just wanted to share my experience. Hope yours is better!!

I was one of the people who got on the list the first day, probably within a few hours of 18.2 being released. Less than an hour after the first YouTube videos about it appeared.

I JUST GOT ACCESS about an hour ago. So, they are indeed rolling it out, but slowly. Playground, Wand, and Genmojis all working. Already had the new camera look-up feature, the photo cleanup tool, and the new mail features.

I imagine the rollout will accelerate as stability of the system is established. Good luck!

I understand that there is a waiting list to gain access to the Image Playground (perhaps so we don’t overload iCloud servers with millions of generated image requests at once. Idk). I do have the patience to wait, but just like many, I also am excited to try out these cool features and provide Apple and us users with feedback! 😅😊

Anyways, my question: Is it possible, that all your apple devices linked to your iCloud account need to have specific settings set or activated to perhaps, “unlock” the image playground app/feature? Just had a feeling.

For example: ChatGPT (subscriber vs non-subscriber) linked/activated with Apple Intelligence and Siri. I realized I did it on my iPhone a few days ago, and now I just activated it on my iPad. However, currently I don’t have an M1 or higher MacBook; Would this make a difference in granting access to Image Playground?

Something within settings pertaining to Photos app, keyboard, even then Notes app for use of the “image wand”?

I just downloaded iOS 18.2 beta two still have no access to image playground or any of the new AI features. It just says early access requested. I’ve been waiting since 18.2 beta one first came out. I wrote Apple about it no response.

I’ve also been stuck at the same screen since the first 18.2 beta dropped and still not change….if anyone has a solution please share
