Issue with FBX import -- models are ultra small

When importing FBX animations (generated by Cinema 4d or Blender) the models come in very far way and cannot resize or zoomed in. I have tried every setting from both programs to no avail. Is there a secret to providing the right export options? When importing without animations/and rigging the model imports fine and correct size. But once motion is included, something is awry. I also tried changing base units in Converter, but did not work. I have attache my model heirarchy in C4D as well as the imported result. It appears the animation is imported, as I can see it move, but can barely see it :)

Re: "Sounds like the issues are stemming from the 3d software and not Converter." I'd agree and these developer forums may not be the best place to find what you seek.

Instead, try reaching out the C4D or Blender community for export tips.

IIRC Blender has done a lot of work on USDZ export. I don't know enough about C4D to provide more feedback on that.

Again, the most pragmatic tip I can provide here is to favor USDZ over FBX.

Hello,

We're unable to provide support Cinema 4d or Blender but we'd like to help nonetheless.

That said, let's start with this: "When importing FBX animations ... the models come in very far way and cannot resize or zoomed in.".

What are you importing into and how is that view set up?

Another key question: why are you using FBX?

Are you able to use USDZ (recommended) instead?

Blender supports USDZ export and I'm not certain about Cinema 4d.

I am exporting from C4D as both fbx and usdz (animation formats)--- but fbx seems to be the only format that loads into Converter. When I import usdz, it gets multiple errors -- primarily with the materials. I have been exporting from C4D and/or Blender and then drag/drop the fbx into Converter. As I mentioned, when I import the reindeer as a static model -- all looks good (size, material, etc) but once I import it as an animation is when the problems occur. Sounds like the issues are stemming from the 3d software and not Converter. Just wanted to see if there were some export tips from your team so that I can work more with Composer and Converter.
