iPad Pro as input device on Linux?

Hi --

I'm a long time animator. I use Linux distros exclusively to create my animations, when on the computer. I absolutely love iPad Pro as a digital drawing tool, however. Currently, there are no drivers or support of any kind for the two to work together. I'd like to know how I can get started on making this happen. I've written simple device drivers for Linux in the past and am quite well-versed in programming on Linux, but because iPad Pro is so closed, I really don't know where to begin at making this amazingly engineered device work the way I want it to on Linux.

No doubt, this would make A LOT of animators in Hollywood and around the world VERY happy, as they would be able to use their favourite digital drawing tool on their favourite free/open source toolsets (ie: Krita; Blender, etc.).

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thank you.
