I am developing an iOS 26+ navigation app. The app has the default navigation entitlement, MKDirectionsModeCar, MKDirectionsRequest / com.apple.maps.directionsrequest handling, a routing coverage file, phone navigation, CarPlay navigation, and CarPlay Dashboard support.
However, when the user says “Navigate to [insert city/place/address] using [name of app],” Siri opens Apple Maps instead. My app receives no URL event, no MKDirections.Request, no App Intent event, and no CarPlay scene URL event.
