What is the differences between significant location services on compared to this being off? Would there be more accurate location reporting?
It is a device-level setting that controls whether the system keeps track of places you have recently been. This is done to identify locations that are significant to you and routes you commonly take to support various features. If "Significant Locations" is disabled, this data is not stored on the device at all.
