RAW 9 / RAW 9.dng

What is the difference (if any) between RAW 9 and RAW 9.DNG in terms of quality, noise reduction, and color?

The difference in quality should be minimal. When using RAW 9.DNG then the NoiseProfile from the DNG is used to drive the noise reduction. When using RAW 9 the noise reduction is driven by the internal calibration performed by Apple.

With RAW 8.DNG. With RAW 8.DNG, I have to supply the noise profile for the specific ISO, an ISO 100 noise profile does not work for ISO 6400 in reducing chroma noise.

Also with RAW 8.DNG, luminous noise is not reduced with high ISO image even an ISO 6400 noise profile is provided.

Is this the same on both with RAW 9.DNG?
