Archived achievements

It's been 24 hours, and the points are not back. I cant delete the archived achievements, and i cannot change their point value to 1 or 0, as that throws an error on ASC. Any tips on next steps appreciated, as this is actively blocking my next release.

Archiving does not release the point values. Did you exhaust the 1,000 points available with your initial 18 achievements?

As outlined in the documentation:

Your game can have a maximum of 100 achievements, 100 points per achievement, and 1000 points total for all achievements. To keep players engaged, you can progressively add achievements to each version of your game until you reach the limit.

Additionally, this page provides more information: Archiving achievements removes from the the user experience but does not delete them.

After an achievement is available to players for any version of your app, it can’t be deleted and the point value can’t be changed.

There's no supported way for you to redistribute point values after they have been made available to players. If you'd like us to consider adding the necessary functionality, please file an enhancement request using Feedback Assistant. Please provide as much detail as possible as to your use case and what you would expect from older versions of your app. Once you file the request, please post the FB number here.

Hey @MasterFrog,

A teammate recommended that you could give your new achievements 0 points. Is there anything specific that you rely on for the point values? GameCenter no longer shows these point values to the user. If you have a novel use case for achievement points the team would love to hear it.
