The new changes to Xcode for adding a project are ridiculously frustrating. I know exactly what directory I want to put my project in, and exactly what kind of project I need. Why in the world is the new user interface so primitive and incapable of allowing experienced developers to add a new project?

It's not designed for experienced developers. It's designed for you to ask your AI to build it for you.
