Where's the correct place to put the SDK for a third party app during installation on a user's machine, if it was installed separately from the app itself?

Where's the correct place to install an SDK?
I’m not really sure what you mean by “SDK” in this context? In common usage an SDK is targeted at developers, and thus it shouldn’t be installed on a user’s machine at all (and I recommend that you let developers put the SDK wherever they want). But I suspect you’re talking about something else. Please clarify.
