My company requested a Fairplay deplpyment package. How do I follow-up on the status? The email ID mentioined in the acknowledgement fps@apple.com seems to be down.

You should have received an email from <fpsrequest@apple.com> acknowledging your request . It should also include a followup number that you can use to check on the status of your request by just replying to the email.
The Auto Acknowledgement is sent to the email address you used to request the FPS Deployment package. Any questions from the FPS Approval team are also sent to this address.
Also I can confirm that Apple reviews each request closely, so it takes them a while to respond.
