Error viewing Glance in simulator

I'm unable to view my Watch app's glance view in the simulator (I believe since updating to Xcode 7 beta 3, although that could be a red-herring). Even if I create a completely clean new project based on the Apple Watch app template, I get the following error on the console when trying to display the glance view:

2015-07-15 15:10:45.821 TestWatchApp WatchKit Extension[1937:74351] *********** ERROR -[SPRemoteInterface _interfaceControllerClientIDForControllerID:] clientIdentifier for interfaceControllerID:5B00006 not found

Does anyone have any insight into what's happening? I have enabled the Glance view for the test app in the iPhone Apple Watch app on the simulator. Thanks for any help.

I'm having the same problem with not being able to develop my glance interface in the simulator. The problem seems to be that the Watch app on the phone simulator doesn't recognize the glance and therefore doesn't offer to let me turn it on. I tried creating a new project from the "iOS App with WatchKit App" template, enabling "Include Glance Scene" in the options and the simulator's Watch app doesn't recognize that glance either, so I'm pretty sure it's not something I'm doing wrong.

Have you tried resetting the iPhone and Watch simulators?

Yes, I've reset both those multiple times, and even tried reinstalling the Xcode beta. But no change...

Also tried Xcode 7 beta 4 and that doesn't help either...

Things seem slightly better in Xcode 7b5 - the error is still printed to the console, but the Glance view does seem to be working on most launches. Although sometimes it just doesn't come up...

Hi tom,

At the bottom of the WatchOS 2 Beta Release Notes it mentions the following:

"Known Issue

When you slide your Glance up from the bottom of the screen in Simulator, occasionally the spinner will come up.

  • Workaround: Quit and restart the Simulator."

Max.
