Apple bought SchemaSoft, so where and how do I get Structured Storage code?

This is probably not a question the community here can answer, but...

The Advanced Authoring Format (AAF) uses a binary library file from SchemaSoft, which is licenced for distribution in binary form as a library or executable code. Apple has purchased all SchemaSoft assets several years ago and there is little information on where and how this old code can be acquired or if it was transformed into a new project or dropped altogether. This structured storage library from SchemaSoft is used in the Windows, Linux and Unix variants of the AAF library as its default structured storage method as it is the simplest library available on all the target platforms. I have many questions on the status of this SchemaSoft Structured Storage library that is supposedly now owned by Apple:

Are the old licenses still valid and enforced?

Is this code still being licensed or supported in any way?

Is this code available anywhere?

Are there any plans to make this code into an Open Source project?

Thanks,

Ron
