Summary: Using the in-built Safari Driver bundled with Safari 11, Mac 10.13 is not working for fileUpload

Steps to Reproduce:

Expected Results: 1. Sendkeys should work for input[type="file"] if the input element is visible

Actual Results: Error ""An element command could not be completed because the element is not visible on the page.".

Version/Build: Safari 11, Mac 10.13

Any workaround for this?

Our automation activities are blocked due to this. File uploads are 40 % of our application functionality.

is this resolved?

sendKeys not working for any textbox using selenium safaridriver.
I'm using Mac OS X- 10.13.6 and safari version as 13.1.2.

Is this some version compatibility issue? If yes, which is the stable combination recommended to be used for automation testing using safaridriver?
