Drag and Drop png sticker into xcode not working

When I try to drag and drop a 408 x 408px sticker into xcode it won't transfer. I've deleted and reinstalled xcode, updated my machine, and searched for similar issues and can't seem to get to the bottom of this problem. Based on what I've seen, my files are prepared properly.

I don't think this is related but my developer licence is new and I'm still sorting out my signing certificate—the status of which has an error stating it "failed to create a provisioning profile". Under that error another one that states "No profiles for 'my project' were found"

I'm very new to all this so I'm sure it's something simple that I'm just not familiar with yet. Thanks for any help.

I'm having the same issue and haven't found a solution for it yet. Trying to download the latest Xcode Beta, rather than the last proper release, to see if that does anything different.

I am also having this issue, so it's not just you. 🙂

Any luck? Did you submit a bug report for this issue?

filed a bug, report #39955521

Can you detail exactly what you do:

When I try to drag and drop a 408 x 408px sticker into xcode it won't transfer.

Where do you drop in XCode ? In the resource folder ? In the xcasset ? Directly in a view ?

Do you see the + sign when you prepare to drop in the files list ?

Does it work with a smaller image ?

Have you checked the image type (.png) ?

Could those tutorials be useful ?
