xcode 10 crashes opening my xib files, so Im starting back at 7 to try to get them working.
anyone get Xcode 7 to work on Mojave?
Don't fight it. I thought the process in the link in your other thread, same topic {Xcode fails to open/update xib file}, told how to manually edit the XIB so you don't have to climb the macOS/Xcode version ladder...
Otherwise, since it's far too late to reasonably migrate, just bite the bullet and create new ones from scratch. Better yet, take that effort as a chance to move to storyboards...it's time.
