Hi I have a problem with updating Xcode,
I updated my Mac with Mojave, after which I updated Xcode from version 10.1 to 10.2 but this is always blocked both in the Lunchpad and in the AppStore with the word "Pending"
I wanted to know if I need to delete and re-install Xcode.

Go to 'more downloads' - https://developer.apple.com/download/more/
...then locate and manually download Xcode 10.2 - that will download an installer you can use to manually install Xcode on your drive. Be sure it lands in /Applications and that you have several tens GB free on you drive.
It took about 5 hours but it finally downloaded.
But it could show pending because of 'not enough memory' or 'credit card information needs to be updated'.
