I am very new here, and I'm not even sure this is the correct place to ask this.
I will admit, even though I have been designing websites for years, Apple products still somtimes confuse me. It also doesn't help that I only own Windows and Linux products. I just redesigned a new site and right off started to get loads of 404 errors showing this:
/apple-app-site-association
/.well-known/apple-app-site-association
I've seen them before but really didn't pay too much attention to them. This time I'm getting too many to ignore. I did research, and read about universal links, associating with apps, and ended up more confused than when I started. I have no Apple apps designed for this or any site, however I do have links from the website to iTunes and the new Apple Books store. Are these the reason for the errors, and if so, what do I need to do to fix the problems? I want to make it as easy as I can for Apple users to use the site, but the articles I read really don't make it clear what I need to do.
Thank you for any help
