I have a question about using a different apple-touch-icon for routes on a site and the root domain of the site.
I'm trying to create separate apple-touch-icons for different routes of the same site and I can only find documentation on how to add an apple-touch-icon for a site as a whole.
The expected behaviour I'm looking for is:
- rootdomain.com has one apple-touch-icon
- rootdomain.com/route has another apple-touch-icon
Depending on what page the user is trying to add to their home screen, I'd like to use a different icon. I'm seeing this behavior with from Safari's "Add to Home Screen" option on iOS.
Currently, when I specify the apple-touch-icon on the route page, the home screen icon defaults to the icon from the root domain.
I'm looking to get more information on if this is a feature supported by Apple.
