Error using playground in Xcode.

Hey Guys,

I've had this really annoying bug while using Xcode recently. I literally can't use the playground at all due to the error:

'Playground execution terminated because the playground process exited unexpectedly'

This error goes away after pressing 'OK'. Once I press enter I get the following error:

'Error running playground

An error occured while trying to communicate with a helper application. You may need to restaart Xcode before playgrounds will run again.'

I have uninstalled and re installed Xcode multiple times yet I keep getting this error.

I have the same problem. My last action was the Yosemite-Update to 10.10.5.

This error happens only with iOS. When i use OS X - playground works.

Anyone can help?

Hey, I found that I was having the same problem today. It started after the update to 10.10.5 as well. I was using Xcode 7 beta and using the playground. It kept giving me the same error and also froze up a couple times. I did a forced quit and then went back to using the previous version of Xcode (6.4 I think it is). Works much better for me.

Hey Ryan,

If you are using Xcode 7 beta, I would try using the previous version and see if that works. I had the same thing happen to me and I could not use it either. Had to do a forced quit and then when I opened playground I chose the previous versoin of Xcode. Works a lot better now, for me.

I was using the beta, downgraded, then Xcode 6 worked for a while and now i'm getting the same problem as I had on Xcode 7.
