Can I install Xcode 7 while still using Xcode 6? If so, how?

I am the sole iOS developer in my company.

In order to maintain an existing project, I need to continue using Xcode 6 until Xcode 7 reaches production.

I also need access to Xcode 7's SDKs for iOS 9 and make any adjustments as needed.

The last time I installed a beta version of Xcode, I overwrote my production version which was unsettling to say the least.
