Download does not give Aug Beta 5 but initial Jun Beta 1

I have tried to download the latest Watch 2 Beta build as my watch is blacking out and using excessive battery. When I download the file from the developer site it states it is the June version not the current Aug 6 Build 5 version. I have cleared cache, web history and cookies from my MacBook Air and my iPhone but am still getting the same issue with not being able to source the Aug build 5 version. Any advise appreciated. I have already raised this with the Apple Development team under case ref 870582612 and uodated my iphone 6+ to the latest Aug build 5 version to ensure compatabiltiy as I have read in the forum that this is key to maintianing syncronisation.

Have you installed the correct profile?

Every new beta, Apple releases a new profile, which needs to be installed prior to the update.

Thanks Guz. Yes the issue is that when I download the latest profile from https://developer.apple.com/watchos/download/ and then look at the release date it should be 5th August but it still shows the release date as 8 June 2015.

Hi Hartley,

What you are describing sounds like what happens when install the profile to the phone and not the watch. I appreciate that you have concluded that the issue is related to the profile's release date, and probably you are correct, but I thought I would mention it anyway 🙂
