Need the actual iOS8 trusted certificate files

Hi,

We have a use case, to assert if the given domain has a certificate that is trusted by iOS8 or 9. I saw some links where the details of the trusted certs are mentioned, but in order to perform the real validation implemented in our standalone java application, we need the actual certificate files, using which a keystore can be built to validate.

Is there a way in which we can get these trusted certificate files?

Thanks,

Rajesh.

There is no easy way to extract the list of trusted root certificates from iOS. You can get a specific one (by running a trust evaluation on a certificate that’s issued by that root) but there’s no API to enumerate them all.
